Who Am I? April 16, 2008
“Sunrise tantalize, this is the morning: Congo pink.” ~ The Poisonwood Bible, Barbara Kingsolver
Who am I? I am a 22-year-old woman who is graduating from a Big Ten school in two weeks. I’m a gadget addict, a dork, and an English major who loves sushi and knits up a storm. While entitled to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, I am still struggling to obtain all three. I’m facing the challenges many young people face - finding a job, falling in love, separating from my parents, struggling financially, getting married (eventually), and moving many, many times. Other challenges including living with a chronic psychological condition, immersing myself in the LDS faith, and writing a children’s novel.
I’m starting this blog in response to all of the wonderful blog posts I’ve been reading and responding to lately. They stir up things in my own mind that my writer-self yearns to commit to the page. I invite you to comment on my posts - whether to agree, disagree or add your own thoughts.
