About Me

Who am I? I am a 22-year-old woman trying to figure out my life. I’m currently in a BSN (nursing) program and my first bachelors degree is from a Big Ten school. I’m a gadget addict, a dork, and a forever English major who loves sushi and knits up a storm. While entitled to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, I am still struggling to obtain all three. I’m facing the challenges many young people face - finding a job, falling in love, separating from my parents, struggling financially, getting married (eventually), and moving many, many times. Other challenges including living with a chronic psychological condition, immersing myself in the LDS faith, and trying to find time to write.

I’m starting this blog in response to all of the wonderful blog posts I’ve been reading and responding to lately. They stir up things in my own mind that my writer-self yearns to commit to the page.

Life’s full of fun adventures! I’m only 10 years ahead of you in the game of life and I’ve felt just like you…I’ve struggled until I found a career I enjoy, searched for the best girl in the world and found her 5 years ago (got married last year), I’ve been active in the LDS faith since the age of 12 and it’s been a great up and down spiritual journey…my advice is to really do the basics. Pray, scripture study, and listen to the Spirit. You’ll never go wrong if you do that and you’ll be led in every situation of your life.

We’re all learning and growing and that’s what makes life a great adventure!
